Larissa and Nick romanced for over ten years before tying the knot on a gorgeous fall afternoon in California’s capital.  They broke tradition by choosing to sneak out and see each other before the ceremony in an intimate portrait session at the State Capitol.  Larissa was eye-catching as she crossed the street wearing a thrilling smile and a stunning silk gown.  Delighted at the sight, Nick greeted her with the warmest of kisses.  This lovely duo married under the elegantly high ceilings of the time-honored St. Francis Church, a lusciously colored space that resonates tradition.  After the ceremony the couple was amazed to see the guests holding hundreds of balloons outside the church, a sweet surprise organized by Larissa’s mom. Everyone made a wish and released the balloons into the sky.

Only a block away from the Capitol, the exclusive Sutter Club was the ideal venue for the reception, where the couple celebrated with over three hundred guests.  The day unfolded effortlessly as Larissa, an event planner, minutely organized all the details of this striking urban wedding.
